Microsoft Cup IEEE China Student Paper Contest

To encourage students to submit papers, YC-ICT 2009 is pleased to offer awards for student authors of papers with higher-quality and better presentation at YC-ICT.
Microsoft Cup IEEE China Student Paper Contest is sponsored by MSRA.

Eligibility and Selection

Students who are authors on accepted YC-ICT 2009 papers are eligible to the contest. The contest is performance in two levels: paper review contest and English presentation contest. The authors of selected papers during technical review stage will be awarded by conference registration, travel and hotel accommodation fare in Beijing and automatically become the candidates for English presentation contest. English presentation contest will be held during the conference and the winners will be awarded by prizes and customized certificates.

Selection Process

Under paper review contest, a technique committee will review the submitted papers, considering paper novelty, organization, and contribution of the work and give a rank on all eligible papers. Top-ranked papers will be announced to every candidates by emailing the authors as well as publishing on our website before conference date. And all the travel and accomodation fee of each candidate will be covered by the conference.

For English presentation contest, all candidates should present their research work during 15mins oral presentation in English and a committee will evaluate their performance on PPT organization and presentation skills. Winners will be awarded in the conference.
